Namaste, welcome!
I’m Lisa or Prana Valmika Dasi (my spiritual name).
I am an Ayurveda and Bhakti yoga practitioner, an artist and a mother to a wonderful little boy.
My way into Ayurveda started 8 years ago, first as a patient and later on through the recognition that Ayurveda is a part of my Dharma (life mission). After 17 years working in the Technology industry, I decided to shift my focus and dedicate myself to studying and transmitting this millennial wisdom to people wanting to dive deep into themselves and to discover their self-healing power.
My practice is based on the rigorous study of the ancient scriptures (you will often stumble upon some Sanskrit words on my website and in my knowledge courses), my deep desire to understand what makes us human (body, mind and soul), my passion for holistic creation (including cooking, painting and chanting), and my deep belief that to be an ayurvedic patient one needs to become an ayurvedic student. This is why my consultations (as well as my workshops) always aim at transmitting knowledge rather than “just” offering treatments and recommendations.
Empowered with knowledge, we can all become our best medicine.
It is worth mentioning that my practice of Ayurveda is very closely intertwined with my spiritual practice. So, it is not rare for me to incorporate approaches coming from the Bhakti and Karma yoga philosophies, though I am above all seeking to establish a heart to heart connection and to create a safe room for healing.
Inspired by my son, I have also been passionate about sharing Ayurveda with a younger audience.
In 2025, I wrote and illustrated a book aiming at explaining some of the main principles of this ancient science to children (and their parents) in a simple and easily applicable way. “The 10 Treasures of Ayurveda” is available on Amazon in English, French and German.
I am also offering Ayurveda workshops for children, leveraging storytelling and plays.
If you are reading this page and finding resonance in what was shared, please get in touch (in English, French or German).
I’d love to hear from you!
